The Ruby is one of the most charming gemstones created by nature.  It appears in its natural form either in a pinkish red or deep, rich red colour.  The superior quality rubies possess a fabulous hue to them, and such rubies are endearingly called “Silk Rubies”.

Rubies are possibly one of the oldest known gemstones to man.  Probably, one of the oldest precious gemstone known to mankind, Rubies have been venerated and possessed with much love & care since the ancient times for their superficial qualities and beauty.

Rubies were arrayed by aristocrats, Nobles and Kings of the dawn time.  The name Ruby originates from the Latin word ‘Rubber’ which means red.  Believed to ward off sickness, Rubies were purposefully worn in ancient times to make one invulnerable to defeat.  Back then, it was asserted that one who possesses Rubies would never have their wealth or belongings taken from them.  Today, Rubies are adorning some highest quality jewellery pieces like strikingly alluring rings, bracelets, earrings, pendants, charms and necklaces.
