Diamond Upgrade Policy

GemTrove offers its customers a lifetime diamond upgrade program on all GIA certified Excellent cut polish and symmetry graded diamonds purchased from GemTrove. Simply call a Diamond & Jewellery Consultant at +613 96639001 to learn more about our upgrade program and to select your new diamond.

We welcome you at any time to trade up to a new creation featuring a larger Diamond. However, the upgrades are subject to the following:

Only GIA certified diamonds which carry GemTrove upgrade card purchased from GemTrove are eligible for upgrade programme.

Only one piece of GemTrove jewellery can be used towards an upgrade at any one time.

The new item being traded in place of the original would be dependant on stock availability and all terms and conditions as specified in our 'Terms and Conditions', Return Policy, 'Shipping policy' etc. will be applicable on the upgrade.

You will receive credit equal to 75% of the original diamond price toward the purchase of a new diamond. The 75% of the purchase price paid for the original diamond will be deducted from the price of the new piece.

The price of your new diamond must be at least 50% greater than the price of the piece being traded in. The Diamond must be in perfect condition and must be approved by our gemologist for authenticity. Any damage to the original diamond may disqualify the diamond from our upgrade program. GST and other taxes will not be adjusted.

If your setting fits your new diamond and is in reusable condition, we will set your new diamond in your original setting.

If your original setting cannot be reused, you have the option of keeping the setting or accepting credit as determined by GemTrove.

The credit value will be based solely on the value of the diamond.

Any diamond not originally set by GemTrove must be returned without the setting.

Your diamond must be accompanied with the original diamond grading report and Original Invoice.

Only the original purchaser may complete a trade-in. This guarantee may not be sold or transferred to any other person or group.

The original diamond grading report must be in reusable condition. Fees may apply for any damaged reports.

The GemTrove Diamond Upgrade Program is available for purchases shipped to AUSTRALIA. Upgrades for other countries may be eligible on a case-by-case basis. Upgrade purchase must be made in original currency.
